I Have been Working Here Continuously As An Attendant From The Last Almost 6 Years Now. This is The Best Mobil Gas Station & Waypoint Convenience Store in Rocky Mountain House AB That I Have Ever Worked in My Entire Life Until Now. Previously Before Starting My Job Here in September - October 2019, I Used To Work At The Fas Gas Plus Station & Shoppers Stop Convenience Store in Cranbrook, BC As A Retail Supervisor & Before That I Used To Work At The Chevron Town Pantry in Castlegar & Trail, BC As A Retail Supervisor. But This Mobil Gas Station & Waypoint Convenience Store in Rocky Mountain House AB is The Best Gas Station & Convenience Store Out of All The 3 Gas Stations & Convenience Stores Mentioned Above ( Chevron, Fas Gas & Mobil ) Where I Have Worked Until Now in The Last 10 Years of My Working Career in Canada Since June, 2015 Till Date ( Until Now ). I have used this service station many times in the past. The staff are generally good, but are persistent and sometimes annoying with pushy attempts at upselling stuff. Ie pop and lottery tickets.Today I needed to top up my windshield washer fluid. I asked the attendant where it was and he pointed out the exterior display case full of jugs of fluid. I purchased one and started to install it into my vehicle and realized that it was summer fluid good to 0 degree. I stopped and took the jug back to the kiosk and asked the attendant where the winter fluid was.
He said that they did not have any because it was still summer. I responded that it was October and it was already freezing at night and that I thought they were irresponsible for still trying to sell summer grade washer fluid. He responded by saying that it was going to be 20 degree later this week. I could not believe he was serious . I asked if he was the owner. He said he was not and I asked to have the contact information for the owner. He called the owner and they spoke together. The owner refused to speak to me and suggested through the attendant that post a review on their website. The owner also told the attendant to inform me that they start selling their winter grade fluid in November.
I have been driving for over 50 yrs and I have never knowingly installed freezeable fluid in my vehicles.
After I left I drove on for several more hours I checked in at servers other service stations. All other stations I checked were selling winter grade fluid.
I have a very low tolerance. This is my first posted Google review.
I believe I was purposely deceived into purchasing their summer fluid so that they can deplete their summer stock.
Now I must squirt out the summer fluid so it does not freeze next week.

This is the stop for my gas needs…. Although the lady was a bit annoying always asking … do you need a lighter? Do you need a lottery ticket? Do you need smokes? Do you need drinkDo u need ANYTHING ELSE….They have a great guy there now, name is Mark… anytime I have a question about my car, he has a lot of info/answers…& I like that !!!*Thanks!!!!*
