Nice place to stay , rooms were clean and the manager was very nice polite and friendly. Cheap price, price in bar are very cheap , its old but clean. VLT machine are over-there. That day I have won $2455. Which made my day more better in Bow manor

Good and cheap price place to stay, it’s old but it’s cleaned properly. I spent one week over there , they have Very nice and friendly staff they always help you with warm hearts. They also have bar which have low prices .. give this place a try.

It had it's time. Old rooms. Hotel staff are very friendly. The manager is a nice person and did his level best to make my stay present. This is the only hotel available in that location, so there no other choice. Hotel need major reno before it gets a good review.

I was born and raised in the Oxbow area and at one time the Bow Manor Hotel was the pride of South Eastern Saskatchewan. It was well known for its well kept, clean and modern rooms, its comfortable and relaxing beverage area, its excellent if not outstanding dining room and its relaxing and friendly coffee shop. My how things have changed.||||I went home to attend the funeral of a loved one and stayed there because I had no other choice. I have stayed in hotels in 11 different countries ranging in price from form $600 a night to $5 a night and the Bow Manor Hotel in Oxbow is by far the worst place I have ever stayed in my life at any price including boarding houses in third world countries. ||||Where do I begin? Firstly, the young woman checking me into my room was arrogant and indifferent to everything. I asked her a few questions about things in the area and she did not even acknowledge my questions let alone answer them.||||When I went to my room, the first thing I noticed is that it absolutely reeked of mildew and mould. The carpet was filthy and in the washroom, the toilet bowl had human fecal material all over it. There was hair everywhere. It was by far the filthiest place I have ever been in my life where the people had the audacity to actually charge you to stay there. It was so horrific I telephoned some friends and asked them if they had bed linens and pillows to borrow because I was terrified to use what was provided. ||||This place must be reported to the authorities in this province who oversea such establishments Never, ever ever stay in this disgusting hell hole. ||||It is both a disgrace and an embarrassment to such a fine community with a deep and proud history like Oxbow. Shame on the owners for allowing this to happen.

Gross! Stay somewhere else! Spills not cleaned from carpet, broken bed, muddy shower curtain, cobwebs on baseboard, pop bottle left under the bed, door for joining rooms doesn't lock, looked like the top blanket for the bed wasn't washed... Just over all gross. I've had to stay at outdated small town hotels before - which is fine, as long as they are clean. My recommendation is find somewhere else to stay - I'm only staying here because I had to for work.

Just got back from Oxbow in which we attended a funeral As we checked into the Bow Manor we noticed the water in both rooms we booked was running. One was leaking from the tap & the other from the tub which was hot and leaking at a slow pour . We mentioned it to the desk clerk they did nothing. Also as we were looking around the bathroom we noticed the toilet was dirty with hair and toilet paper so it was never cleaned. The bath tub had hair in it & was stained from the hard water it was gross! The fridge was dirty, the mat by the door still had mud on it, The carpet was hard & very dirty with pieces of wood and oil or grease in it looked like the workers were wearing there dirty work boots on it & wasn't cleaned for years .I was afraid to walk on it without my shoes on as it was really dirty. It was so hot in there the guy across the hall left his door open trying to get some cool air into the room while he was trying to sleep. Everything was so old & outdated that if there was another hotel in town these guys would be out of business but there isn't . I don't like to complain but this place is one of the worst hotels i ever stayed in. We also mentioned this to the owner or clerk before we left and he just kept saying no discount and was making excuses. For $90.00 dollars a night this was a joke. This place isn't worth $30.00 a night. It is embarrassing for the town and should be for the people that own & operate this low grade hotel. I would think there would be someone inspecting this place but I guess not. I am sure it would violate some health codes. I was thinking about going there in the summer for some of the events in the park & town functions but now I will have to rethink that & maybe take a tent . That's to bad because I have lots of fond memories of the town but now I have a bad memory because of this! I also talked to some of the others that stayed there and they agreed. They need a new hotel in town or somebody that knows how to run a business.

Had to stay here for work.... the hallways smell like smoke, the bathroom has paint peeling off it above the shower, stained carpets, and very think bedding. All of which I could have handled to a point considering the price... but since we stayed here during winter, it seemed like the heat was barely on if at all some of the time, I was working night shift and so I slept during the day and woke up to it freezing in the room, two other people had space heaters in their rooms cause it was so cold... complained and he seemed to barely turn the heat up, very difficult to try to deal with him also he was hardly around and no one else could seem to help with room arrangements, always had to call for the owner guy. Would not recommend, especially if you don’t like the be frozen while sleeping
