Just back from a delightful tour of the Yukon with Pam of Mosaic Earth travel. Every detail of our trip was meticulously planned, and when weather dictated some changes, Pam and her local Tour partners managed them with grace and flair. From a half day canoe trip on the Yukon river to a beautiful stay in the southern Lakes resort, to a very special Jeep ride along the Alsek River Valley, to visiting the spectacular Tombstone park in fall, the trip was terrific!

We had very specific requests for our vacation and then had complications that required changing our dates. Both of these requests were handled exceptionally. The accommodations secured, timeline planned, and tours selected were exceeded anything we had idealized. Would highly recommend Mosiac Earth!

Our Mosaic Earth tour of Yukon took place in late August and it coincided with beautiful fall colours and the northern lights. That was no accident. Pam and Josh planned all the details of our trip in order to maximize our enjoyment in this beautiful northern part of Canada.
We had a lot of fun with the other guests and we all enjoyed hiking, canoeing, rafting and even cold dips and hot saunas. Together we all experienced frontier spirit and the wonder of the wilderness.
I highly recommend this tour of Yukon for anyone who wants to travel in a small group off the beaten path and to learn about both the landscape and the local people and their cultures. Be prepared to be surprised and amazed at what's around the next corner of your tour, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of engaging hosts and guides.

Mosaic did a wonderful job of planning our self drive trip to the north of Vancouver Island. The detailed itinerary was so helpful with suggestions of places to see, spots to eat and logistical information. Pam was so upbeat and helpful it felt like we had a friend ready to step in if we needed assistance. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Telegraph Cove, Alert Bay and San Jo in the Cape Scott Provincial Park. Just outstanding. Thank you.

Mosaic Earth Yukon – Incredible experience!!

Just back from Mosaic Earth’s inaugural trip to the Yukon - I had no idea that the Yukon had so much to offer! It was AMAZING! Stunningly beautiful scenery, unique cultural experiences, wonderful hikes & canoe rides. We learned about the fascinating history of the Gold Rush era, & walked “back in time” in funky Dawson City.

The fall colours in the mountains and the sub-arctic/arctic tundra were in full bloom – gorgeous reds and yellows! Even lucked into a spectacular Northern Lights sky one night – a bonus! In short……every day was a “wow!

THIRD TRIP with Mosaic Earth! I can’t say enough about this company, their esprit, and their incredible trips! I keep coming back for so many reasons. They go the extra mile to unlock unique, out of the way experiences that are so rich in beauty, interest, education, insight and pure enjoyment that continue to exceed my expectations every time. They are extremely organized, professional, responsive, and thorough, leaving no stone unturned, allowing you to completely relax, unplug and thoroughly enjoy! They put so much heart into their trips….nothing is too much trouble for the pleasure of their travelers. You truly feel like a special guest!

I also admire the strong partnership they have developed with the local residents and indigenous communities, using local guides and supporting locally-owned businesses wherever they travel. I see a mutual respect that is most impressive.

Pam & Josh – you are a delight - both so down to earth, friendly, knowledgeable & caring, and lots of fun! – a pleasure to be with!

Highly recommend! With each trip I have found the richness of experience and value unsurpassed.
Whatever new trip Mosaic Earth plans next……sign me up!!

My wife and I explored Northern Vancouver Island on a Mosaic Earth self guided tour in 2021. Without any prior knowledge of the area we asked Pam Duynstee to organize accomodation and activities. She did a superb job. She earned our confidence by being available to deal with the issues that arose from weather delays on activities and to proactively deal with all the consequent changes for ferries etc.
The area is beautiful and fascinating, Alert Bay and Telegraph Cove are highly recommended. as is the Sea Wolf Grizzly Bear tour and the exploration of the West Coast of the Island through Port Hardy.
We enjoyed our first trip with Mosaic Earth that we joined Pam and Josh for their tour to the Chilcotin this September. Again it was memorable and filled with unique adventures and people. If you have never driven Highway 20 from Williams Lake to Bella Coola please go and you will enjoy yourself in a wonderful part of our Province. The high plateau seems to be filled with confident, talented people living a life on land they love. The Chilcotin Lodge and the Terra Nostra Ranch are both exceptional places to stay for a few days. The float planes out of Nimpo Lakes will take you to places of exceptional beauty. Bella Coola is a part of the wet, green coast we love. Go by all means.
This summer did a trip with Pam and Josh to the Yukon. Marvellous and historic place. The Southern Lakes, Mt Logan area and Dawson are not to be missed. We especially enjoyed an add on to travel on the White Pass railway down to Skagway. The railway is a marvel of engineering.
Our hosts at all the stops took great care of us, and we met many lively and interesting Yukoners. Highly recommended.

Pam at Mosaic Earth Travel designed a perfect tour for my friend and me to see all that North Vancouver Island has to offer. We had a great time, stayed at comfortable places, and were able to experience the area's wildlife, First Nations' people, beaches, hiking, and much, much more. Couldn't have had such a great time had it not been for the work that Pam put into our trip.
