Devin and his family and crew were top shelf. Great people with a great camp. Some things that set them apart are the family atmosphere, well maintained and clean cabins, and truly the best boat fleet I've experienced. The fishing was solid. I look forward to planning my next trip and I'll definitely book with Sunset Lodge again.

Sunset Lodge is the perfect location and family run business for our family fishing trip. Cabins are rustic but have plenty of beds and include all the necessities, and towels and linens that other resorts don’t include. The beds and mattresses look like they’re being updated. The WiFi worked well in camp to keep us connected (and bragging about our fish!) to our family and catch up on a couple shows. Our upgraded boat with comfort seats, live well, remote trolling motor, and sonar was awesome, well worth the upgrade for our trip! The hosts and staff were knowledgeable about the lake and provided a superb experience. Booked our trip for next year!

This was my first year staying at Sunset Lodge, I stayed with a group who has been coming to the lodge for many years. Devin and his family took me under their wing knowing it was my first time not only in Canada but first time on a fishing trip and also helped prepare me to tag along for a bear hunt. Our cabin was prepped and cleaned well when we arrived, boats were always ready to go when we were ready to head out for the day, and Devin was always responsive if we had any questions or needed ideas on navigating through the lake. A new deck with beautiful new red patio furniture was always available for relaxing, it was perfect during the evenings to watch the most incredible sunsets each night and for the camp fish fry that is held each week. You can tell the owners have great pride in this camp from the eye catching deck, to crisp green grass with perfect mowing lines, to the professional advice and guidance. I can’t wait to come back next year.

Devin runs a tight ship and his crew at Sunset Lodge helped make our stay there a great experience! He communicated very clearly how everything was set up for us, rental boats, cabins, weekly camp wide fish fry etc. He seemed to be one step ahead of the questions we were going to ask and took time to explain anytime we had questions about. He knows the lake and how to play the always changing conditions. His recommendations kept us safe and on the fish. The cabins were basic, but set up well with fridge, sink, stove, coffee maker, microwave and toaster. The rental boats performed flawlessly and the seats were comfortable even after 12+hours of fishing each day. Devin has been updating every aspect of the camp since he became the owner and it shows he takes pride in the lodge. Once a week the lodge puts on a fish fry on the main deck and the food was awesome! Devin and his guys hung out with us and other guests and made everyone feel at home.
Red Lake is an amazing fishery! A ton of top spawner walleyes in the 20 to 24 inch range so the future fishing looks brite. We had several walleye over 25" including a 29"plus a good amount of good eaters as well! Several 37"+ pike were caught while going after walleye, targeting them specifically yields 40"+ according to others there. They have minnows on site at the lodge so we didn't have to make runs to bait shops. We are already scheduled to come back next year and we can't wait to return to make more great memories! I highly recommend Red Lake and Sunset Lodge!

Had a great week for family reunion. Devin was very accommodating for our group. Really enjoyed the new deck and screened in area to hang out. Fishing was great and Devin helped us with points of interest for fishing and finding a spot to pick wild blueberries. Also loved the fish fry for the entire camp on Tuesday evening.Highly recommend Sunset Lodge. Thank you.

I’ve been going to Sunset Lodge since 1994 but this was my first year staying since Devin and his family took over. He has done so many fantastic improvements to the camp in the two short years he’s owned it with more to come. Very family friendly and customer service is second to none. His dad Ron is an asset to the business and always willing to give you a tip on where the fish might be.
I bear hunted there this spring taking a nice bear, the quality of the hunt was was excellent, planning my next trip for spring of 2025.
Keep up with what your doing Devin, making it a must destination for generations to come.

Sunset Lodge has the best location on Red Lake with amazing views! I left a piece of my heart when we moved in 1978 and treasure each visit back to the beautiful north woods. This visit was even more special with a large portion of extended family enjoying the experience. From dozens of fish, fish tales, fish fries, revisiting all the familiar places, picking blueberries and just enjoying the peace and quiet. Devin and family went above and beyond in assisting us, making it a week to remember! I highly recommend Sunset Lodge is the place to go for the best!
