Very disappointed and hurt by Schinkel properties. I had shared the serious position I was in and needed to find a home for someone. They offered this person a place and booked an appointment to meet with us to see the place and talk about the lease. The day of we show up and no one from Schinkel was there. When I called, the lady we were dealing with said they never got the application when it was submitted twice. She was the one who called after the application was submitted to make the arrangements for us to come see the place. Said because we didn't submit the paperwork they gave the place to someone else. I several times explained to her she made these arrangements but it was useless. Then she told me that the people who live their, they had purchased a home in Winnipeg and realized they had made a mortgage on a home that wasn't even for sale. Changing her story. The lady who lives there came home to find us at her place. She informed us that they aren't even moving. They never had attempted to purchase a home in Winnipeg. It was us who had gotten scammed. Our hopes up that we finally found a place for this lady and her children and none of that was true. I can Not recommend.

If the company is too busy to handle paperwork and clients sufficiently, then hire more staff. Don't point fingers at your clients because you were too busy to pick up the phone and have a 2 minute conversation to clear something up. You guys dropped the ball. Then proceeded to have a phone call with me after the fact, to blame me for the wrong dates on YOUR paperwork, how I just should of shut up and signed legal documents with incorrect dates on them, and for the fact that you are too busy to handle clients with questions. Oh and then they hung up on me. Im extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service.

Schinkel properties has proven over and over again that they are incompetent and only care about kick backs from the companies that they wish to deal with. They continually push their sub-par providers on the condo properties they are contracted by. They do not care about the properties as such, but only what they can get out of it! I recently had an opportunity to speak with a potential property purchaser. She asked who the managers were and said, before I could answer, " please say it isn't Schinkel". That speaks volumes! Stay away from Schinkel run properties!

Our landlord was Melissa Gross & she was the best to work with ! very professional & easy going !!

Any issues or questions she was willing & ready to make sure our needs were met !! Definitely recommend shinkel properties for your rentals !! Will definitely be staying with this company for future rentals :))

Nothing but good things to say about Schinkel and also Regina Paul of who we had the pleasure of dealing with. She was very professional and made the transition into our new place a breeze. Highly recommend this company!

Regina is awesome! She has addressed my concerns in an efficient and cost effective manner! She returns calls promptly, addressed the signage issue, got my washer/dryer unit repaired via Barkman Contractors. Very pleased with her efforts! Organized and easy-going! I wish they would, once, maybe organize a small BBQ for our close group of mainly elderly group neighbors once a summer, potluck maybe? It's not an expectation,just would be so nice!

Really bad management who are willing to break laws and try to take money out of your account without permission... won't recommend to anyone. I would give 0 starts if I could

They have broken many laws, which is being brought forward to RTB so no need to try and get customers back or better reviews.

I will provide more details after litigation (if they are still a company) but stay far far away.

Constant property management changes as well.

Very poor experience with Schinkel Properties, when there was an issue it was very hard to get ahold of the property manager Melissa Gross, we had to wait 3 weeks for a response when our dryer needed to be repaired as well…
Would not recommend to anyone I know, most of the time I had to threaten the tenancy branch and I would finally get a response after sending emails and trying to call into the office.
