Je voyage rĂ©guliĂšrement dans le cadre de mon travail. Lors de ma visite Ă  Brandon avec ma conjointe, on m’avait recommandĂ© le Canad Inns parmi tous les hotels de la ville. MĂȘme si c’était l’hĂŽtel le plus dispendieux, je croyais que le prix justifierait un service supĂ©rieur. Je n’écris que rarement d’avis sur les hotels et je suis habituellement facile Ă  combler. Je suis capable d’accepter un hĂŽtel plus ĂągĂ© si le service y est bon.||Je vais commencer par le commentaire positif puisqu’il n’y en a qu’un. Le personnel de la rĂ©ception a Ă©tĂ© extrĂȘmement poli et courtois.||DĂšs notre arrivĂ©e, nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueillis par un groupe de fumeurs devant la porte. Je peux comprendre et accepter ceci en soirĂ©e. Par contre, peu importe l’heure du jour, il y avait toujours entre 5 et 10 personnes devant la porte principale qui fument en dĂ©visageant les clients qui entrent, ce qui finit par nous faire sentir extrĂȘmement inconfortable. L’hĂŽtel devrait amĂ©nager un point de fumage plus loin afin d’attĂ©nuer ce dĂ©sagrĂ©ment.||Lors de notre premier matin, nous nous sommes rendus au restaurant afin d’y prendre notre petit-dĂ©jeuner gratuit. Quelle ne fĂ»t pas notre surprise lorsqu’on nous a demandĂ© de payer une facture de 10$. En effet, le petit-dĂ©jeuner offert n’est qu’un coupon de 9$ de rabais pour une seule personne. Il s’agit d’une pratique trompeuse et je suis extrĂȘmement déçu de cet aspect.||En tout temps, deux gardiens de sĂ©curitĂ© sont Ă  l’entrĂ©e de l’hĂŽtel. L’hĂŽtel est tapissĂ© de rĂšglements (ne pas sauter dans l’ascenseur, ne pas fumer dans les chambres, ne pas faire de bruit, etc). Je comprends que ces rĂšglements sont affichĂ©s pour une raison et que la direction de l’hĂŽtel a trĂšs probablement eu des problĂšmes par le passĂ©. Par contre, je suis un adulte et je suis un client qui paie. Je n’ai pas besoin d’ĂȘtre infantilisĂ©. Les rĂšglements et la sĂ©curitĂ© sont tellement omniprĂ©sents qu’on se sent dans un dortoir et non dans un hĂŽtel dans lequel l’hospitalitĂ© devrait rĂ©gner.||Nous sommes allĂ©s Ă  la piscine. Il est difficile de me dĂ©goĂ»ter en gĂ©nĂ©ral. Mais j’avouerais que de trouver des diachylons sales sur le rebord de la piscine et de voir un cerne brun tout le tour de la piscine ne me convainc pas de la propretĂ© de ces installations.||Finalement, le dernier point dont je vais discuter ici est la connexion internet. En 2018, internet est le moyen de communication et de divertissement par excellence. Le Wi-Fi de l’hotel est tellement lent qu’il est pratiquement impossible d’y faire quoi que ce soit. Ne pensez surtout pas utiliser Facetime ou communiquer avec vos proches avec le rĂ©seau offert par l’hĂŽtel. Vous ĂȘtes sur une ile dĂ©serte, sans moyen de communiquer avec l’extĂ©rieur.||À Ă©viter.||

Je visite plusieurs chaßnes d'hÎtel dans le cadre de mon travail. Pour moi, le plus important, c'est quand je ferme ma porte de chambre et que je peux dormir sans entendre les voisins. En plus, cet hÎtel offre le choix de trois restaurants ouvert sur différentes heures. De plus, j'ai mentionné un problÚme le premier matin de mon séjour à ma chambre, à mon retour le soir le problÚme a été réglé.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Canad Inns Destination Centre Brandon. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The toilet in our room was not functioning at all — the flush simply did not work despite multiple attempts, and I have attached a video as proof. This forced us to go downstairs near the reception every time we needed to use the washroom, which is absolutely unacceptable and completely unhygienic.
When I reported the issue to the front desk, I was told that the plumber would not be available until after 10:00 AM. Our checkout was at 11:00 AM, but we were planning to leave by 8:00 AM — so how exactly was a plumber coming at 10:00 AM supposed to help us? We went the entire night and morning without a working toilet in our room, and no solution was offered in the meantime. That’s not just inconvenient — it’s inexcusable.
On top of that, there were no basic amenities in the bathroom, not even toothpaste. The overall condition and level of service we received were far below acceptable standards, and your staff did nothing to resolve the situation while we were there.
I am requesting a full refund for this completely unacceptable experience. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and seriously. If not, I will escalate this further with appropriate consumer channels and public reviews.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. We were in town for a wedding and we stayed here for 3 nights in a family suite. We have stayed here once before years ago visiting family. The renovations are good, although the kids missed the gaming consoles in the old family suite. Our room was clean upon arrival. The hotel noted our pet allergy before we arrived and asked if we wanted to change rooms, if it they will do their best to make sure there is no pet dander in the room. Giving us that heads up was a very nice touch. |The bedroom ensuite was large but it had no shower/tub so it felt like there was a lot of wasted space there. Our room was serviced by housekeeping once and I had to ask for it to be done. We had our do not disturb sign on the door till 1pm but housekeeping didn’t come around in the afternoon. We also didn’t have a basic ironing board and iron in the suite so we had to ask for this as well. |Despite a few misses, the hotel was very fast in providing what we needed. We ate and had drinks in the lounge a couple of nights and the food is your typical pub fare. We would come stay here again. I think it is one of the better hotels in Brandon.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now, and both experiences were terrible. The first time, the shower water would randomly get scalding hot without touching the controls—my child actually got burned. On top of that, we ended up with bites that appeared to be from bed bugs. I reported the issues to the front desk, but they brushed it off with no real concern. I followed up by email and was encouraged to give the hotel another chance. Unfortunately, that was a big mistake.

During our second stay, people were partying all night—yelling in the halls, slamming doors, and running around. I texted the front desk at midnight, and they claimed someone would handle it. But the noise didn’t stop until almost 5 in the morning. For the price we paid for one night, I expected basic comfort and professionalism, but instead, we got no sleep, no peace, and absolutely no customer care.

I regret giving this place a second chance. Definitely not worth the money or the stress. Never again.

We joined family members for an after wedding buffet in Aaltos. It was our worst buffet experience. There was insufficient seating in the private room. The only drinks were coffee (and tea, I believe). There was no juices. In the buffet line, the food choices were served in very small quantities. You had to ask for more. There was no option to help yourself. The pastries were limited and of poor quality. We all had uncooked croissants. I requested orange juice which cost our host extra. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were courteous. The sign in the bathroom advertising Brandon’s Best Buffet need to be reconsidered.

This is a great place for its cost!
The staff is fantastic and are very helpful!
My bath tub drain is plugged. They have 2x hot tubs but one was down during my visit. The pool and slides are super fun. The location is in the heart of Brandon, it has everything you need within an easy hike or drive, which is awesome.
