Excellent coffee, good food and great atmosphere, always super friendly and anyone complaining of time it takes has never been to Starbucks which takes 2 or 3 times longer and is twice as expensive as cursed, they even serve breakfast all day and ice cream year round, I make it a point to stop here most times I come to shilo.

Love this place! Whether it's getting a simple black coffee or a pumpkin spiced latte, I am never disappointed. Food is top notch, too. The staff are also very friendly and I look forward to every visit. 🙂

Today, I had a very disappointing experience when I went to get ice cream for my son, as I usually do. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that I was not a priority for the employee working that day. Instead of taking my order, she seemed more interested in watching a video that another customer was showing her.

I didn’t even receive a simple greeting, which is usually standard when I visit this establishment. The employee chose to have a long conversation with this customer, even stopping her work to continue talking, without ever attending to me or my order.

Faced with this situation, I decided to leave and purchase a cone elsewhere, at Canex. Although the employee saw me leave, it didn’t prompt any reaction from her. It seems that talking to someone is more important to her than serving a child waiting for their ice cream.

I am extremely disappointed by this experience, and I am not sure if I will return to this establishment in the future. It might be better to go directly to Canex, where customer service is taken seriously.

Update: I decided to give you another chance because the sun was out and my son wanted some ice cream. The service on April 8th and 9th was really good.
But today, April 10th at 4:30 PM
I just don’t get it. It felt like you didn’t even want to make a sale.

One customer in front of me got a coffee and a cone. Five minutes later, I’m still waiting. My son asks for his ice cream, and the server just keeps talking and talking. She finishes the coffee like we’re at a Starbucks inside Sobeys in Brandon. She rings him up, keeps chatting, and I’m just standing there. She looks at me, but it’s like she doesn’t want to ask what I want—just because it’s ice cream for a kid?

Guess what? That conversation was clearly more important than making money for the business.
Sorry, I gave you a last chance
but I won’t be coming back. Very disappointed.

I always come here for coffee since it’s the only option on base. The coffee is good, but the taste is inconsistent each time I visit—especially considering how expensive it is, I’d expect consistent quality and flavor. Service times are often long, whether through the drive-thru or ordering at the counter. However, the atmosphere is great, and the staff are friendly..

Atmosphere is fine. The decor and furniture are old but it's mostly a takeout place. Staff are always very friendly and the coffee and food options are usually pretty good

Seriously my favorite coffee shop around here. The food is always so delicious, the drinks are beautifully crafted. My favorite is the breakfast wrap... it's always so good. The service is always amazing as well. It's definitely worth the drive to Shilo. Also they make the most AMAZING apple cinnamon muffins and banana bread

I love trying their specialties, and I am absolutely picky! So I always find something I enjoy. A big hit is the ice cream for my children! We love our scoop dates during lunch break.

From coffee hang outs and chats to coffee runs, this is a very cute place to go, and I enjoy looking at the cute locally owned things they sell as well.
