Entry to this business is from Patrick St. Gate 3 for metal plates pickup. Just be there at least half an hour before appt. They will guide @entry/exit Gate. Load quickly, it does matter how many trucks are in line..

This place is a huge eye sore, makes the city smell terrible, leaves black soot on buildings and pollutes the river. Insiders say it shouldn’t be running at all due to the toxins emitted and I’m sure it effects city
residents health very negatively. I’ve heard numerous stories of incredibly unsafe working conditions. The town of Sault Ste. Marie needs to find other means of industry in tourism and outdoor activities or literally anything to diversify its economy relying on this dump is not good.

Anyone saying they will be happy if the plant shuts down; you do realize that if that happens our whole city will get rundown and our economy will crash to the point everyone will have to move right? The plant has been here longer than ANY of us current residents, you really think a noise complaint will do anything? don't like it? then move, creates more housing for people who WOULDNT complain 🙂 hope this helps:)

I love Algoma Steel and the people are very lovely there. Great product, great service and very necessary for SSM economy. I'd like them to make an employee park so the guys can have picnics on the grass and enjoy their breaks.

Its more than 3 hours still waiting to get loaded. The young girl with short hair door 44 steel plate shipping office is really rude. I wanted to use some other word instead of rude. Hope you all understand.doesnt know how to talk to others. Get some life Karen.

This place makes me sick! It’s killing us with pollution and the noise is stupid loud 24 hours a day 7 days a week. They don’t care if you call or email about the noise either. It will be a beautiful day when this place shuts down forever.
