I had Julie for a year with car insurance. She was friendly to chat with, and she was the cheapest option I could find at that time and recommended to me by Hyundai. This was my first time dealing with car insurance on my first car. Throughout this year, I had problem after problem happen.

The insurance providers rarely sent me information, she said I should have things when I did not, but would not easily send what’s she had on file to me. I tried to get my partner added to my insurance and after months of trying with her and her saying things would happen and it should be there lol, nothing came of it. She said he was on there but the providers never charged for adding him. She would say you should have this (paperwork etc) and I rarely did. When we said we needed proof he is on the insurance, or we would leave next year and not renew with them, she sent us it immediately, which was only a temporary document. She said we should get the officials the next week , and we never did.
When we received documents in the mail after that , it was only the renewals information and with my last name change, but not with him on the insurance.
There has been issue after issue this past year. For instance, my monthly payments changed because the insurance provider had my wrong phone number to get the tracker app started; which affected my budget. I was using the app to track my driving for a month and the providers were not aware and issues arose from this as well.
I spent countless times following up with her , asking her questions, trying to have clarify what was going on. She would answer, but not always, and if she did she would say “it should be there,” it should happen anytime, etc, but we never had anything, we would not always get clear answers with results. Weeks would go by at times, with no result.

I also asked her for cheaper options for the renewal, where I went from 2000/year and she gave me a quote only 30$ less per month. We ended up getting two sets of our current insurance renewal paperwork, one being more more expensive than the other.

She did not provide another quote when I asked, we just got the renewal paperwork and quote, which did not entirely match what she said in the emails. We found a significantly cheaper option almost half of what I paid for all of last year’s 2000/year.

When we asked to cancel and when our last payment would come out, she did not answer and only sent the cancelation paperwork.

I felt like this was not trustworthy, or reliable/dependable service.

I gave 2 stars, but the owner, Jeff reached out, and apologized for how our case was handled overtime and our maltreatment. He stated that they were having challenges with that staff, and that it would be resolved. He provided me the paperwork for closing my case, and answered the final questions that I had. This was much appreciated.
