1 star because you can't give zero. Poor advice and clerical errors cost us our savings. Had us pulling out $2300 a month from TFSA to cover the financial plan he had for us. Didn't keep OUR plan in mind. Lost our savings. They called us VIPs but when push came to shove, they left us on our own. We kept bringing up concerns and were told to "trust the process". Owner talks a good game. Please don't fall for it. In the last meeting, when all the savings were gone, he told us, "Good luck keeping what you do have". Not something you want to hear from your financial planner. Great at giving himself credit, doesn't take ownership of his mistakes. Always someone else fault. Where's the integrity? Where's the ownership for bad decisions? Be a real business leader and own up to your faults.

Highly recommend these guys. They helped me get control of my finances by having me literally freeze my credit card in the freezer. Then later, helped me by my first house and was able to lock in at 2.54% with my mortgage. Great guys.

I have been dealing with Jason since 2008. Obviously the length of time should be a good indicator of the trust I place in him. If it is not, I will do my best to summarize my experience.

Jason and Tom have gone above and beyond to meet My family's needs. As I have grown older and my career and life have changed, both Jason and Tom have always been ahead of the curve to adapt my financial plan for the future. That being said, NexMil has evolved into a full spectrum resource for my wife and I with respect to all matters financial. Whether it is real estate decisions, investments, taxes, mortgages, wills, life insurance, income property management, and even succession planning.

I have even received valuable dog training advice for God's sake!

I think what I find most invaluable, is the ability to explain to you in as much , or in as little detail - what your unique strategies and options should be in order to stay on the right path for the future. If you want them to stay out of your hair and do "their" thing - that is what they will do. Time is our most precious resource and they realize this.

Jason and Tom are both very easy to get a long with and have obtained a good sense of humour.
