I recently parted ways with TMFD, and my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite clearly communicating my impending move to the U.S., they failed to advise me on the crucial need for a specialized U.S. tax expert. My accountant irresponsibly endorsed the idea of incorporating without disclosing potential tax implications or the existence of departure tax. It seems their primary focus was to secure my business rather than provide comprehensive and honest advice. Furthermore, the firm employs junior accountants lacking the necessary expertise. It's evident they prioritize profit over the well-being of their clients, pushing unnecessary services to boost fees.
I strongly discourage anyone from engaging with them, and I've already warned my fellow dentist friends to steer clear of their subpar services. Don't let their seemingly professional exterior deceive you – there are far better accounting options out there.
