We always deal with Theresa Healey Fuller because of her attention to detail, great knowledge base and travel connections, and overall amazing personality and friendliness. I wouldn't trust anyone other than her to help myself, and my family, see the world. She works tirelessly to ensure you are happy, satisfied and knowledgeable about your journey.

When booking with Vision Travel in Brantford, ON, my group (consisting of myself and 3 other individuals) was very disappointed. Through Vision Travel, my group went to Theresa Healey as recommended by family members. We first contacted Theresa over the phone in an attempt to book an appointment with her. During this phone call, Theresa appeared rude and very abrupt as she interrupted the caller and asked us to just email her what we wanted and that she would get back to us soon. We emailed Theresa stating that we were going on a trip to both LA and New Zealand and we only needed help with booking two vehicles during this time. Two weeks had went by with no answer from Theresa. After these two weeks we called Theresa again and asked if we would be able to come in that day and she agreed. When we met with Theresa she appeared friendly and had vehicle recommendations waiting for us.

We told Theresa what we would like with our vehicle such as full insurance coverage and in-airport pick-up if possible. Theresa suggested that we use our own insurance to cover these vehicles as this could be done internationally and that both vehicles were in-airport pickups. Theresa also let us know that once she put the booking through that she would send us the confirmation. By that afternoon my credit card was charged with the payment but we did not receive the email confirmation. My group spoke to an insurance broker and we were told that you could not book the insurance coverage suggested by Theresa when travelling outside of Canada and to the U.S. by any insurance company in Ontario; making insurance coverage on our vehicle in New Zealand impossible. When contact Theresa about this and our lack of email confirmation of the vehicles despite the payment charges, Theresa answered that the cars did have full coverage already and ignored our question about our car rental confirmation. We emailed Theresa for two weeks requesting our car confirmation as we had received the charge on the same day that we had met. During this time Theresa would not reply to our emails.

When we finally received our car vouchers, Theresa then informed us of hidden costs that we had told her we did not want in our meeting. When we attempted to ask her questions about this cost she would avoid the question. As a group we had to investigate this issue on our own and found that this cost occurred as we did not have full coverage. Due to this issue, when arriving in both LAX and New Zealand we had to pay additional costs when picking up or vehicle.

We had asked for in-airport pick ups and Theresa assured us that this is what the rentals were. Upon our own inspection this was not true as LAX does not provide any in-airport car rentals. We would need to take shuttles to get to and from the airport that would take approx. 30 minutes - 1 hour. While we were understanding of having to do this, Theresa did not tell us about these shuttles. This was during a quick layover trip that we had limited time for but was hoping to enjoy scenery of this stop. Luckily we were able to find this out on our own ahead of actually arriving to LAX and able to plan accordingly but this was also without Theresa's help.

Overall she gave us false information about costs and insurance options, avoided answering questions, and did not give us proper instructions about car rental pick-ups. After this experience I would never return to Vision Travel when requesting help from a Travel Agent or refer others to this agency. We went to this agency with a simple booking request that we thought would be easier with the help of a travel agent but ended up with further difficulties than if we had just booked on our own.

Me and 3 friends went to book vacation here for a trip to Cuba. When we talked with the lady working their she told us that we can email here when we want the trip so she can reserve the current price, so we did and the next day we went to go pay for it she did not open the email and the price went up around $70. We still booked the vacation with a final amount which one of us paid in cash and the rest would be on 2 credit cards. when we got charged we got and additional $56 fee and all of the seat selection cost went on one credit card instead of splitting it. we then called about the fee and the lady said that when she booked it for us (which was right in front of us) it went up in price without her knowing and nothing she could do about it.
Would not book with this company again.

As we look forward to the say when we can travel safely, we found Brenda Pascoe, manager of the Brantford, Ontario Vision Travel, so helpful. Her years of experience, travel and an understanding of budgetary limits will help us decide what we can afford, what the mode of travel and what the best times to do so will be. Brenda is warm, welcoming and professional.
