I stayed at the Stampede in a couple of nights ago. I couldn't find a place in Winnipeg, so I drove the 40 minutes south to this spot. It's fair price at $106 tax in per night with a free breakfast too. It's clean and has everything you need. It's a big place for Morris and safe too. Front desk is open all night fully staffed. Like many older hotels you will experience some discoloration on the carpet in the room and hall. It wasn't too smelly like some other older places and it's perfectly fine on a budget and you will save on your trip. There were both families and business people there too. It's a decent older small town place. It's a 2 or 3 star, so don't go expecting 5 and you'll be fine.

By far the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at and priced at a regular hotel rate. Not that I would want to stay for even $10, truthfully you couldn’t pay me to stay. Smells, dirty, dated, wires hanging out, stains on walls and carpets, bathtub so worn and then looks dirtier, not vacuumed, many things broken or missing, one families room had what appeared to be a blood splatter on wall, looked like a murder scene but we figured it was nail polish, we hoped. Even the hotel sign at night was not lit up presumably broken too. I could go on and on but I will end at bugs and cockroaches. Yes cockroaches. Oh yes there was so kind of fight on the floor above as well. We were with a group for sports that booked in, would recommend staying anywhere else. Winnipeg perhaps.

It's a great place you pay for what you get, everything is clean and very nice the rooms were cozy.
Also the breakfast was great too with a bit of different food choices.
Would recommend it to everyone.

An unexpected blizzard and highway closure led us to the Stampede Inn in October. Lynn at the front desk was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We arrived after 10pm, hadn’t eaten and nothing was open. She dug into the fridge and freezer to make sure we had enough food to get us through till breakfast. She was very generous and we were so grateful. Thank you Lynn.

The hotel is quite nice, it's a little outdated but it's a decent place to stay for the Manitoba Stampede. They do need to check the rooms more often though as only 2/5 of the lights in my room turned on (not including the bathroom light, that was fine) and the shower sprayed practically only outside the tub which made quite the mess on the floor. If you're staying there for the Stampede it will be noisy simply because the hotel is right next to the stampede grounds so that's both good and bad as it's conveniently close but you get the noise of the rides and such. Overall it's a good place to stay, I recommend it!

Got stranded in Morris while travelling as highways got shut down due to blowing snow. We tried to get a room for the night but they were already full. The staff were so nice and welcoming and let everyone that tried to get a room wait out the storm in the dining area. They have us all complimentary coffee, tea, juice, apples, snacks etc and even turned on the jets game in a conference room! They went above and beyond for non-paying customers. Will definitely go back to stay a night, hopefully under better circumstances!

Awesome little spot! Had a lovely stay while in town for a holiday get together. Jacuzzi room was a blast! Great way to take in a movie in the tub. The building is a little dated, but the place is clean, comfortable, and the staff are great! Will definitely be staying again next time we're in town.
