I’m not sure how this place is even in business at this point. I have been staying here a week for work and they won’t clean your room. 3 days in a row we asked for room service and was told yes but it never got done. Garbage piled up in the hallways, bags of stuff and dirty sheets and towels just left of the floors for days. On initial check in it seemed like a decent hotel but upon further inspection of our room we realized they don’t clean. The bathroom was horrible the floors have never been mopped or cleaned it seems. The kitchenette had nothing. No cooking supplies at all and they said they don’t provide anything. If this place ever received a government inspection they would 100 percent fail. All photos are from check in

I have been staying here for work for the last few months. The staff have been very friendly and always looking to accomodate your stay any way that they can. Breakfast every morning in their dining room and rooms are very comfortable, always looking forward to my stay every week.

I don't recommend staying here! The room and bathroom haven't been cleaned in a long time, the smoke detector is missing, several drawers handles and cupboard doors are broken and missing, and most of the dishes are missing from the kitchenette.

When I walked in the hotel front door, it smelled like sewer, and both of the gym treadmills were broken.

The staff are professionals they go out of their way just to get what you want. It’s clean, spacious everything is new and works, and the food is awesome. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are elegant. It’s better then being in the comfort of your own home. I would know I spent four weeks there, and it wasn’t because the beds are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on or the great free breakfast’s which were scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, coffee, hot chocolate, and major variety of teas. It was the staff that made the place the greatest. If celebrities knew about the Western Star Inn they would go there. Plus they have the greatest steaks at there personal restaurant, and they have a beer store in the hotel. Rated best Hotel ever been to. I give Western Star Inn, and it’s Staff a count the stars in the sky rating, that’s my way of saying that’s better then five star rating.

While this seems to be a great location for anyone staying in the vicinity for work or passing through, be warned management may be paying its employees less than minimum wage. Paying cash in order to provide its employees with proper insurance should they get hurt on the job.
The front door didn't work properly. There is a need for repair on the outside of the building, so I'm hoping that's not a job for those working for cash with no wcb in place.
The employees I did interact with seem very polite and helpful and obviously work hard despite the less than legal pay grade.
I had considered working and/or staying here, but for obvious reasons, I will do neither.
There is no minus star to submit my actual review star rating.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend and were blown away by the hospitality we received. The front desk agent was very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were all very clean and had a really practical layout. we enjoyed our continental breakfasts that included eggs, sausage, hash-browns as well as (apples, yogurt, cereal.......). We also got to enjoy the hotels restaurant that was way beyond Small town food. Portions were huge and delicious. The manager and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. * 5 STARS*

We have stayed there numerous times, from opening until now. It’s literally filthy. Our last visit was bad and we switched rooms but with Covid I thought there would be an improvement, it’s worse. Even the elevator is dirty. I went to the desk and told the manager our room was filthy and there was hair in the bed, not to mention blood spots. We cleaned the room ourselves and the picture shows how dirty the rag was. We got clean sheets and made the bed ourselves. My sister-in-law had almost as bad an experience. The staff aren’t as the desk and we had to wait 5-10 minutes even to have the bell answered for check in. We won’t return and sadly a small town needs a good hotel, this went from really nice to run down and dirty.
