Wouldn't give them a star.
I moved into one of their units in the beginning of September, moved out by March 1st. In my time there I had someone break into my friends car, I asked them for months to look into the cameras and they couldn't be bothered, then after 4 months was finally told they only get a weeks worth of footage. We had a pest infestation and they had handled that but left an absolute mess in my unit and left all cupboard doors opened, when I tried to call about it, I was ignored.
I moved in one day and didn't have the time to do their entire cleaning list that they provided and just cleaned up what I could, missed some odd things here and there as well as I had fixed some of the things that were issues when I moved or small things out of my own pocket, other than leaving some things dirty, I left that place in better condition than I rented it in, they couldn't even be bothered to fix the blinds or put the window screen in the bedroom back in. Fast forward to getting my statement and wondering if I would get my $775 damage deposit back or at least some of it. Other than the regular charges I understand, they charged me $600 for carpet cleaning and then ignored my request for a receipt for proof of those charges, then overcharged me on top of that. No where should be charging $600 for carpet cleaning, especially for an apartment that barely had any carpet, I have seen houses cleaned for less than that, and that is including travel. I see this isn't the first time they have overcharged people looking at these reviews. I had also left a bad review when I was trying to move out and I was phoned by them and asked to take it down so their status goes up. Would not recommend Magnum York to anyone.

We hired Magnum after our previous Management company decided not to manage condos anymore. It was a smooth transition for us. We first were handled by Kerri and then got transferred to Daryl. Daryl is professional and deals with things that arise by the rules of the condo association. We have had a few problems with things going wrong and with people who live here and he handles whatever is thrown his way. Our condos have four buildings, with eight apartments in each building. We have a mixture of tenants that rent from owners and owners. We have a great family here and try to look out for each other and take pride in our buildings and common space. Daryl fits in with our vision and how things are managed. We have had some renters in here that don't fit in, for one reason or another, and unfortunately or fortunately, however you look at it, they don't last long here. Bylaws are strictly enforced to keep our places safe and looking good. I hope Daryl stays with us and continues to help us for many years. We are in Springbrook, it's a lovely community out here!
