I could not be more impressed!!!! Dr. Jessica Chong is incredibly helpful and understanding. I am having a great deal of difficulty finding a family physician in and around Edmonton and I would be entirely lost and stuck going to the ER every month if not for the virtual care clinic. I have had some health issues the past couple years & sought out WestView PCN after having difficulties finding any care/a family doctor. Rurally located makes it a challenge as well. I was able to have virtual visits over phone, scheduled within days of my request, receive feedback via direct calls and lab documentation via email. Test results were communicated by Jessica immediately upon return. Best health care I have received in my 40+ years in Alberta. Our inefficient health system should adopt more care like this and expand these services across the province. While recently finding a family doctor, he has no time for me, long waits just to be seen and then rushed out the door. I'm convinced virtual care should be expanded rapidly, and with todays technology it will help alleviate pressures on our bloated system, including emergency hospital care and save taxpayers a great deal of money in the long term. Doctors aren't always needed, health nurses like Jessica in a virtual setting can accomplish a lot. With our expanding population and stressed systems it makes a lot of sense, and will save lives. I didn't spend on gas, didn't have to hire a babysitter, no wear/tear, winter roads or scheduling difficulties...very happy with Westview PCN! Thanks

I had an amazing experience with NP Jessica Chong. She is caring, understanding, and very thorough. I don't have a family doctor so I have been to walk ins before with my problem only to be told there's nothing wrong, without any testing.
Jessica listened to my symptoms, asked a lot of questions and ordered appropriate testings which found out a condition that needed a treatment right away. Now I can be referred to see a specialist thanks to her.
Virtual appointment is really handy and their hours are not too short so it's not hard to book with them.

I had an appointment in Spruce Grove AB with Jessica on May 9 2024. I drove all the way from Grande Prairie AB. I am so glad that I did because it was the appointment that I was looking for in a Doctor. This lady was such a gem with a wonderful bedside manner. In my opinion she is what doctors should be like. I would recommend anyone to her if she was taking new patients.

Overall, I am deeply disappointed with the care provided by, Jessica, a NP with the virtual care clinic. She was over 15 minutes late for the appointment. She most certainly lacks empathy and compassion. I had hoped for a caring and understanding
healthcare professional who would listen and
provide appropriate guidance. Instead, I
felt dismissed and disregarded, and leaving me feeling worse!!!

Save your time. And go somewhere else!!!
