Four bridges cross over the Heart River in the space of a few blocks of the town of Peace River. I have seen people fish just upstream from this particular bridge and play in the shady water. The train bridge seen also crossing the Heart was completed in 1916. Beyond this vehicle bridge is another that crosses into a park sponsored by CN. And the park was known to host bands playing for Peace Fest in previous years beginning in the early 2000's, perhaps even in the late 90's when I was a teenager and too young to drink/attend. Sound equipment, kegs and baseball gear have all been transported using this bridge for good vibes in the park.
