Caveat Emptor. *Horrible communication.* Laura plays it fast and loose, she answers the phone (one star), but did not respond to multiple emails. She did not do any consulting, she did not answer questions that were asked multiple times. Seemed to only push one bank (ATB) which didn’t give us a very good feeling (volume bonus maybe?), had to really press her on other banks. She expects you just to accept what she gives you and trust her without her having to earn it. We did not feel at all as though her client’s (my wife and I) best interest was her focus. No follow up after getting an approval, expected signatures without explaining anything. Sorry #ATB, you lost business. *Would not recommend at all*. We gave her two chances on a new build mortgage ($800k) and in the end we went with another broker, and another bank, and got a 150% better service.

Didn’t have a good experience with my mortgage broker. Many mistakes were made at my expense, from the beginning. Never replies to my emails and interest rate was supposed to be locked in before it increased, but that also didn’t happen.
I’ve obviously moved on to a more reliable broker.

Before we found Laura we looked for our own mortgage rates ourselves and after ten years of feeling like we were getting nowhere as far as paying down our mortgage we thought we should try using an expert. I was given Laura’s name by my cousin, after my broker informed me 7 days before close on my new build that he couldn’t get me approved because my current home hadn’t sold.
Tuesday at 6pm I called Laura’s office and by 9pm she had gotten me a conditional approval! I was able to leverage the house that hadn’t sold into a rental and take possession of my new home.
Laura did an amazing job as the bridge between the underwriter, myself and the lawyers!
