After Calling TD Insurance for boat insurance (they only do riders on your house policy), and calling Leibel Insurance (they will only sell boat insurance to you if they already have other policies with you) and taking 2 online quotes I called PMI; the only company where an actual human answered the phone. I was quickly transferred to Shelley who quickly provided two quotes and explain the pros and cons between them. The more robust policy turned out to be 40% cheaper than TD’s house policy rider quote. Shelley was very knowledgeable and walked me through the process very efficiently but also spent as much time as I needed to answer my questions. Definitely recommend PMi and although I’m sure they’re all very good I do want to also recommend Shelley.
