I felt the numbers given, both for the trade in and the purchase, were reasonable and fair. This gained my confidence with the sales team. Darren came in on a day off to show me the vehicle which made it really easy for me to fit into my schedule. Darren is a friendly, personable, and direct salesperson and I appreciated that.

Customer service was excellent. Iam not very happy with the booking of appointments. I booked my car in at 10 for an oil change it took me 2 1/2 hours to get my car back. I missed a very important appointment because of it. If you are going to book appointments for an oil change it would be nice if you kept somewhat to that time. And oil change shouldn't take over 2 hours for a job that takes 15 minutes. Will think twice before go back for an oil change

I bought my truck new from these guys and had my front done with 3M. I tried contacting them about the sub par job on my 3M and nothing was done about it. Paid $1000 to have it done and this is the craftsmanship their company puts out. They would not resolve the problem

Happiest gal here.. Rod and everyone at GM salmon arm made dreams come true for me. I can’t say enough about service, treatment, and follow up. These guys are absolutely amazing and I can’t stop smiling with my new vehicle.

Would be a zero star review if it was an option..
I have procured two brand new vehicles from GM. Despite residing an hour away from a GM dealership, I
extended multiple opportunities to the Salmon Arm GM service team to deliver satisfactory service.
Regrettably, I will not be returning. My initial encounter with the service team involved an unnecessary
brake inspection, despite my visit being solely for brake replacement. This resulted in an exorbitant
quote of $1800, prompting me to seek services elsewhere at a fraction of the cost.

On the same occasion, I sought to purchase new summer tires from GM. However, the service team not
only failed to install the correct tire size but also neglected to rectify the error promptly, necessitating
additional trips and inconvenience.

Recently, I acquired a 2023 Chevy Silverado from Kelowna due to my dissatisfaction with Salmon Arm
GM. While my purchasing experiences at GM dealerships have been commendable, issues arose with my
truck after approximately 17,000km. A pronounced vibrating noise prompted a visit to the Kelowna
dealership, where the service team attributed it to tire tread noise without thorough investigation.

Upon further inspection, abnormal tire wear was discovered, prompting a recommendation for an
alignment check. Despite having recently undergone a service, my truck exhibited alignment issues,
leading to premature tire wear. The Salmon Arm GM service team's initial dismissal of the problem as
driver error was unsubstantiated and frustrating.

Despite bearing the cost for alignment and tire rotation, doubts persist regarding the adequacy of the
repairs. My confidence in the service team's ability to restore my truck to factory standards is severely
diminished. Consequently, I will be exploring recourse through Customer Care.

This disappointing experience, compounded by gender-based assumptions, has soured my perception of
GM's service quality. Consequently, I regretfully conclude that this will be my final GM vehicle purchase.
It is not a reflection of my affection for my truck and previous car but rather an indictment of the subpar
service received, particularly as a female customer.
UPDATE: following the most recent alignment and tire rotation done by salmon arm GM, some alignment values were still in the red (a service I paid almost 200$for). Just two weeks after this service the rotated tires started to get the same pattern of wear. I just took my truck into the Kamloops service centre and what would you know, the alignment was out! The service at the salmon arm GM disappoints again and AGAIN! They do not do the job they are paid good money to do.

I have worked in the automotive industry for over 20 years. In fact, I worked in sales for a GM dealer and I can say that Salmon Arm GM is a great store. We were passing through town and needed an oil change. Not only did our truck go into the shop on time but the service advisor informed us that we needed some recalls done that they were happy to take care of while the truck was in the shop. Even with me working at a GM dealership, my truck would never have been through the shop in such a timely fashion . At Salmon Arm GM they got us through the shop in record time and we got a complimentary car wash too. The technician took a video walk around during the service to show us things they were doing and what needed to be addressed. Amazing service and Salmon Arm GM sets the standard they everyone else show strive to hit. Ian Gray is such a good guy and it reflects in his staff and his store. Great job everyone.
