Living on a budget and trying to make healthy meal choices, isn't always easy. But if you shop smart, use your pc optimum points card to your advantage, and watch for saving opportunities, you can stretch a little over $100 bucks to buy enough produce and groceries to last a week.
Using the points I racked up shopping last week buying gas and shopping elsewhere for toiletries...I spent only $85.49

I love going to Edson's Independent. All the staff are very friendly, and if you need help finding something there is always someone around to help you to the best of their abilities 100% my favorite place to shop. Plus they have pretty great prices

So I went to get some “fresh donuts” today come to realize that flies took over the donut stand. The flies were inside flying around on the donuts..I told the bakery person and she said “that’s normal”. I was grossed out. Do better independent and check your staff because there’s nothing Normal about that.

This store has a great garden section in the spring.
For the size of the store, it has a surprisingly large clothing selection.
The staff is always friendly.
