During the time that our family has been dealing with end of life issues, Mr.Forestell was not nice at all. My mom passed away just over 2 years ago. A few months ago, my dad wanted to initiate the POA so we, his children, could look after paying bills and dealing with the daily things. My brother took my dad to the office and since my dad is hard of hearing, repeated the lawyers question to dad a bit louder so dad could hear. Mr. Forestell immediately kicked my brother out of the office so he could talk to dad alone. WOW! Not ethical !!!!!

He proceeded to ask leading questions and had my dad confused and in tears. When escorted out from behind closed doors, he said that he would take care of his children for dad.

Fast forward a month ...my dad wanted to add one more to his executor list, personal directive & power of attorney. So off to the lawyer office again. Dad had a handwritten letter stating his desire to add me.

This time, the lawyer flat-out said NO. He would not do as dad asked. But he did tell dad that he needed to come back in alone to re-write his will.

Are you kidding me!! What kind of sneaky underhanded move is that?!

Needless to say, we fired him as fast as we could!!

The 1-star is only because there were no negative options to choose.

Great folks here.
Charmaine was a pleasant to deal with she was so helpful and patient with us on our purchase of our home.
Brian was very helpful in explaining things to us as we were signing the documents.

Brian is good. Dealt with him and his regular assistant and they both were nice. Although, I had sold my house and as part of the conditions of the agreement, I was to pick up my final cheque for the sale at 12PM. I was forced to wait an extra hour despite the agreement, and then was told by an extremely rude, loud mouthed (Receptionist? Assistant?) that I would have to wait. I tried to explain my side of things to Vicki, the woman on the other end, as I am a busy person and had to be somewhere for a scheduled time, which I was unable to make due to the extra hour I was forced to wait. Don't get me wrong, an extra hour wouldn't have been an issue had the person who answered the phone not used a snotty, snarly, growly tone. Vicki was incredibly rude and refused to communicate to my mother in a manner that was courteous and professional. She hung up on my mom numerous times because she was frustrated with the questions, (important questions, might I add) that my mom had about the whole thing. Then, when we went in to pick up the cheque, my mom said rather cheerily, "Hi there!" while the receptionist responded rather sullenly and passive-aggressively "Insert my moms name here". She then proceeded to be extremely unprofessional in regards to handing over the cheque that was owed to my mom.

So, the house was sold and the business that took care of it was great. Except the receptionist. The customer service was sub-par, IF that, and that's what I wasn't happy about. I happily gave them $750 and I don't even get a "have a good day" or a "thank you" when I extended the same courtesy as I was leaving?
