Very upset after my taxi lift from this company. We got picked up from the Rocky Mountain resort just outside of banff and taken to Canmore Emergency Department as my partner had broken his nose after a snowboarding incident. The driver was nice during the ride but once he dropped us off he charged us a whopping $80!! It was an 18 minute drive! My card kept declining as I didn’t have enough funds on top of being stressed for my partners safety (he also had a concussion so it was an emergency matter). He also made a comment about tips despite charging us $80 for such a short trip, which is even more inappropriate when you consider the circumstances.

Would not recommend.

I had an amazing experience with 4 Aces Taxi! Chris, the owner and our driver, was incredibly friendly and made our trip to Emerald Lake and Takakkaw Falls truly special. He picked us up right on time and immediately put us at ease with his warm personality.

Chris's knowledge of the area was impressive. He suggested multiple scenic spots, enhancing our tour with his insights and recommendations. He was always accommodating and never hesitated to fulfill any of our reasonable requests, which made the whole experience even better.

The service was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable for such a personalized experience. We genuinely enjoyed Chris's company—he made our adventure feel like a day out with a friend. If you’re looking for the best taxi and private tour provider in Banff, 4 Aces Taxi is definitely the way to go! Highly recommend!

UPDATE: I'm not going to engage in a public back-and-forth with the company owner. Suffice to say: I responded to him with an email providing clear evidence we were told our online bookings were confirmed, but he's choosing to ignore it and blame the customer. A lack of internal company communication resulted in multiple delays during our yearly golf excursion. But that's OK, the trip was still amazing and the mountain golf courses remain as awesome as ever!

I have to say, our golfing group was very disappointed with this taxi service this weekend.

I used their website to pre-book cabs for the two golf mornings. I got an auto-reply email stating my request had been received, but nothing saying the taxis were confirmed. So I called the company directly and was told that email was indeed confirmation for both cabs.

Morning #1 arrives, and no taxi shows up. We waited 10 minutes past the so-called ‘confirmed’ time. I finally called them to ask where our cab was, and the guy who answered (our driver, as it turns out) said: ‘Yea sorry, I don’t know anything about this booking. There is no communication between the owners and the drivers’. He arrived 15 minutes later and we got to the golf course 30 minutes later than we should have. On morning #2, just to be sure, I called 30 minutes before our pre-scheduled pickup time. Good thing I did, because that booking was also lost in the matrix somehow.

Fast forward to post golf round #2. I called for a cab. I was told 15 minutes. 25 minutes later, no cab to be seen, so I called again. A new voice picked up the phone. When I asked where our cab was, he said: “Sorry, I just started my shift and nobody told me about this pickup’. So 15 minutes turned into close to 60.

Pre-booking should not be shown as an option on the website if it is never going to happen. The drivers themselves were good, but overall our experience with the company was extremely poor.

My parents would sincerely like to thank the driver who dropped them at WorldMark Canmore Banff this evening, they left personal items in the car & he went above and beyond to track them down & return to the bag to them. Cant recommend this service highly enough!

Matt was an awesome driver, and helped us go on a 2 hour drive from Southern BC (Invermere) to Canmore smoothly and quickly. Will definitely be coming back for our transport needs!

I am truly amazed!!! I had no idea Canmore didn’t have Uber or Lyft and needed to get to Calgary to make a flight the following morning. Grateful they are open 24 hours because I would’ve been stranded without them. Thank you for letting me not forget my wallet and thank you for all the help with unloaded all my music gear and bags. Arrived early and on such short notice. Best car service I’ve ever experienced. I’m a touring musician from Nashville and thank you for helping me get to my next gig safely and peacefully. 100/5 stars

We used 4Aces taxis to transport wedding guests and members of the wedding party from various locations in Canmore to Stewart Creek Country Club.
Chris was very helpful in sorting all the transportation for our needs, and coordinating the transport on the day.
All the drivers were courteous and arrived on time.
We were extremely grateful for the efficient service and their help in making the day run smoothly.
