My partner and I did a private lesson with Ridgeline Guiding, and having climbed with many guides over the years I can say that Patrick was hands down one of the best instructors I have had. I left the day with way more than I expected to learn, and his feedback was tailored and focused on helping each of us climb more efficiently and in the end safer. Even if I knew more experienced partners to climb with in Banff, I'd still enjoy starting the season off climbing with Patrick. His coaching on movement and technique have made it easier to climb steeper objectives with less pump. Thanks!!

Patrick is a great teacher, and knows his stuff. My wife and I headed out with him on a private tour on our honeymoon and had an absolute blast. We didn't want any crowds and wanted more of a "real deal" experience for our first climbing experience and he delivered. Our community focuses on empowering women in the outdoors. Patrick did just that with our group! He took the five of us women to the summit of Mt. Temple. Incredible experience. First time ever climbing, Patrick was super patient with me. He even performed a rescue of two climbers as we were ending the day. It was something to see as all the first responders, medics, fire dept countlessly thanked him for making their lives easier. He free climbed up a 40 ft ledge, rigged up the injured climber and single-handedly lowered him down to the rescue team as they waited to stretcher him out. Patrick is a true professional!

Because of his demeanor and approach, my husband & I had a fantastic 3 days of ice climbing with plenty of adventure, skill building, and finished without incident.
