Shout out to Candace Evans and Sally Reid from PEKA Canmore. I manage many properties in Canmore and Harvie Heights and always appreciated Candace and Sally's support to the day to day operations of management and their responsiveness to updates and questions. It feels like PEKA is the only condominium management company that truly knows what they are doing. Highly recommend.

In my many dealings with different property management companies for work and for my own home, PEKA is probably the best company to work with. All the managers at PEKA Canmore are professional and responsive, especially Jan Pedersen-Diggins. She is by far the best property manager I have ever seen. We had been using Peka for a number of years for weekly condominium checks with no issues so when we decided to rent out our property, we felt confident in continuing to use their services. We have not been disappointed! Our initial meeting was with Mark Walker who is extremely personable and professional. No question or problem has been too much trouble for him and we have had excellent tenants for two continuous years. Jess Springstead has now taken over responsibilities and has been a delight to correspond with. She is always quick to respond to queries and has quickly found us another suitable tenant. Jan from PEKA has been immensely helpful to us in managing communications with a contractor who is renovating our condo. There was some confusion/miscommunication between ourselves and the contractor, and Jan was unwavering in her determination to make sure the issue was resolved in a way that satisfied all parties. We’ve been dealing with different agents through Peka for 4 years as we’ve moved twice but chose to stay within the management - and dealing with Lee has been amazing. He is fast + efficient and a kind soul to also interact with. 🙂 Lee gets things done quickly and is always happy to help us out and answer emails with questions!

Where to start… have to agree with previous reviews in the lack of professionalism and management. Very poor communication skills, the tenant is always the problem and in the wrong, including my partner being accused of theft due to lack of communication at Pekas end and threatening to withhold our security deposit. Then once they realized they were in the wrong, and after no apology to him, they couldn’t figure how to get our security deposit to us due to the mail strike. We couldn’t have been the only ones in this situation. We moved! Finally after numerous emails, our security deposit was on its way via wire transfer. Talk about flying by the seat of their pants. We did finally receive the security deposit within 10 days. As stated in other reviews, do not rent through Peka. They are not worth the problems you will endure. They make it very clear, tenants are not their customers, only the owners are. Well, if you do not have happy tenants, you will not have happy owners. Pretty basic. It’s difficult to make this valley feel like a home when renting is such a struggle. Thus the move. Canmore is seeing a mass exodus and Peka isn’t helping. They can’t control the supply and demand but they can treat all involved with respect and professionalism.
