Private full day french speaking guide : Quelle journée extraordinaire nous avons passé avec notre guide privé Jeff Samson! Jeff a un bagage de connaissances impressionnant de la faune, flore, géologie, histoire, géographie etc. Confortablement assis abord de leur nouveau SUV, il nous a renseigné et informé tout au long du trajet et des visites. En plus de nous avoir mené aux différents sites que nous tenions à visiter, il nous a aussi fait découvrir d`autres lieux moins touristiques tous plus beaux les uns que les autres. Merci encore Jeff!

The top of the world snow shoeing was the most amazing tour we have ever been on and was a highlight of our honeymoon. Megan was so knowledgeable and an incredible guide. This tour is out of this world, I can’t describe how fantastic it was… just book it! We had incredible views and it was just so magical. I would 100% book this again.

I did the Marble & Johnston Canyon Icewalk Combo (Jan 2025) and it was fantastic! Our guide Josh was incredibly knowledgable on the scenery/wildlife and location/history. We got picked up at 8 am and started with Johnston Canyon - a great ~1 hour round trip hike along a canyon with 2-3 frozen small waterfalls! It was cold but very enjoyable. We then drove to Marble Canyon right as the sun was starting to shine on the area. This was more open, as you're higher up in the canyon, and Josh surprised us with some hot chocolate and cookies. Overall it was a fantastic 4 hours. It wasn't strenuous and so you just got to enjoy the scenery.

Very thoughtful, accommodating, knowledgeable and kind guides! Everything was timely (ahead of time even), organized. I really enjoyed the trip to Lake Louise and greatly appreciated Adrienne and Emelio's guidance, I highly recommend their team to anyone visiting Banff! If I had more time here I would definitely book another one of their tours

We recently booked the ‘Top of the World’ SnowShoeing Tour with White Mountain Adventures.

Our guide, Alina, met us in central Banff and drove us to Sunshine Meadows.

We were both first time snowshoers, and Alina was patient, informative and very helpful and friendly throughout.

The views throughout were beautiful, and there had been some recent, fresh snow. Alina took the time to explain some of the history of the region, and the mountains, and we even had a break for some hot chocolate and biscuits.

The snowshoeing was one of the highlights of our Banff trip and I would highly recommend booking with White Mountain Adventures.

I took “MARBLE & JOHNSTON CANYON ICEWALK COMBO” with White Mountain Adventures today (Dec.4, 2024). I’ve been to both places. Nature are already beautiful on their own but BRIAN (our guide) made it a thousand better with his knowledge, experience and hot chocolate! He’s nice and funny. Recommend 👍🏼

Ebike and hike Johnston canyon 1/2 day tour . Van ride to the canyon - hugely busy walk with many tourists - suggest morning tour might have been quieter ? Disappointing boring mostly road ride back to Banff - not up to expectations sadly .

It’s hard to leave just a small review of how profound our time was with Chris and our experience using White Mountain Adventures. It was truly top of the line service and a remarkable hike into the wilderness of the Canadian Rockies. If you are coming to Canada for a short trip, make your minutes count and hire a guide. Chris arrived with different ideas where to go and we ended up settling on a hike outside of Canmore. It not only gave my husband and I a great challenge to hike, but it provided us breathtaking views all while learning of the wildlife and community around us. It was magical and worth every single penny. By far the highlight of our trip. I cannot praise this experience enough- so if you are teetering on whether to book or not- do yourself a favor and go on a hike you’ll never forget! We even got the icing on the cake by spotting a grizzly on the car ride home. 🐻 Thank you Chris! Thank you White Mountain Adventures!
