The school itself is okay. It's not bad, but there is some advantages and disadvantages that come to going here. Like a good thing is that it has flexible scheduling, so you can arrive and leave at different times. It's also all self taught mostly, which can be good or bad, but it's good if you're a visual learner. But there are some things that I haven't really enjoyed within the time I've been here. Like it doesn't necessarily feel like you get a normal high school experience when going here. The teachers also tend to more treat the students like their own children, which can be good, but also not so good. The students who go here are also not the brightest, and I have witnessed verbal fights happening here before. The students also tend to treat the teachers like their parents, and lots of them think that they can yell and swear at the teachers when they get mad. And the teachers just take it. I've also seen teachers here willingly allow students to vape in front of them, and whenever a student is caught vaping, literally nothing happens, as opposed to other schools where you'd get a suspension or an expulsion. There are also students constantly talking and having conversations here, which distracts everyone else from doing work, and the teachers do nothing about it. In fact, lots of the time they'll join in on the conversation. Overall, the flexible scheduling and self teaching is a good advantage you get by going here, but the teaching isn't super professional, and you also loose the advantage of making friends.

I love attending this school. I transferred here from St Martin de Porres High School, after I had a serious negative experience with CCSD. The teachers, and admin are extremely welcoming here. I feel a lot less stressed.
, working at my own pace. There’s less kids at this school so I am able to purely focus on schoolwork. It also gives me more “one on one time” with the teachers if I’m struggling. Both facilities have a very positive atmosphere.
