didn't have a room, but ate here two nights...perfectly fine...food was fresh, simple and well prepared. Wait staff was fine, and totally met expectations for the location

Not able to keep up with service. They must struggle to find staff. Everything was the slowest I've seen, even compared to Mexico time. Don't go there hungry, but you will, since you have no options. Anything will taste good by the time they serve you.
Pro tip, let the kids go to the beach to find shore crabs will you wait.

Das ist das schlimmste Zimmer das wir je hatten. Zimmer Nr. 1. Direkt an der Einfahrt sehr laut. Das Bett durchgelegen und weich. Im Bad hing noch der Hoodie vom vorherigen Gast. Keine Sitzgelegenheit im Zimmer. Der Toilettendeckel wackelig. „ Achtung“ Sturzgefahr. 2 in Worten zwei Kleiderbügel! Niemand da um die Mängel anzusprechen. Die Kellnerinnen im Pub sind am Getränkeverkauf interessiert nicht an Hotelgästen.

The service in the restaurant was terrible. The waitress was very inexperienced, which is fine, but she constantly made excuses and brought out food 1 plate at a time, and by the time the last plate came came, the first people were finished. Won't go there again.

Super rude blonde server at the pub checked us in - very pushy to pay for the room when all we did was ask if they had a room, and barked at us telling us she was busy when we wanted a minute to decide, after the room was $30 more than the price listed online.

Comfortable, well equipped room right at the Harbour. We were in room 10. Housekeeping is minimal. Good options for dinner are a two minute walk away. The rooms are a little odd with just one window that doesn't open. They supply a good fan which helps. We stayed here for 4 nights and would return.

It started off so good, but then… one BIG issue!||||We arrived in time to find the young teenage girls who handled housekeeping, hadn’t quite got our room ready for check in, and as we waited downstairs, we watched them appear to glance around, and then… just sort of give up! ||||“Room’s ready!” they said.||||It initially looked okay; bathroom was clean, minor rust and a few stains on the wall - but for a budget inn, that was expected.||||But when we pulled up the sheets, the semen stains were definitely not acceptable! It appeared that the two young girls had conveniently ‘forgotten’ to change sheets.||||The response from the restaurant, (where they handle the hotel’s check-ins) was very quick and positive; they gave us a new set of sheets, and we promptly changed them ourselves, (since housekeeping was now gone for the day after the two girls left).||||But… really? Even if you hire locals students, changing sheets is definitely something you really should teach a fledgling housekeeper, to make sure to do! ||||Additionally, the in-room TV system wasn’t initiated so we could view the evening news. But compared to the first issue, that one could get a ‘pass’.||||For a budget inn (all things considered), it was a reasonably good place - but that incident with the sheets (we’ll spare you the photograph) will definitely temper our plan to return again.||||Sportsman Inn, please re-train your cleaning staff!

Nice rooms at a reasonable price. Our room had a view over the marina and on a clear day to the rockies on the mainland. The room itself was clean and had a separate living room from the bedroom. Avoid room 7 as there is a ventilation duct attached to it's outside wall which will cause loud vibration noises in the room. Restaurant downstairs was really good.
