This. Trip was absolutely amazing fully packed with an endless amount of tours, free time. Interesting sites excellent touring with a very well rounded tour, Director and tour guide who had an incredible knowledge on everything we were going to see what we were going to do and just the history of Portugal.
The hotels were excellent very well located great service and the meals were unbelievable actually almost too much. They were so good.!
Our bus was excellent. The bus driver superb our guru was fun, knowledgeable, and very helpful to a lot of people Debbie, by her name. Our on-site tour person, Clara was phenomenal for her knowledge, her direction guidance, and enjoyable to be around
We literally covered the whole country from the middle at Lisbon up to Porto up to the valley back down east and then south along the coast a total package!
I’m not a huge group tour person, but this was just so much fun and so well organized. It changed my opinion.!

We have just returned from South Africa & Victoria Falls. It was an amazing trip definitely a life time experience. Seeing the big five up close in their natural environment is fascinating. Victoria Falls are breathtaking. It's a very busy tour but we wanted to see as much as possible & Approach Tours did that for us. Our Guru Annette was amazing, she is upbeat and positive. She had a number of difficult issues to deal with but still had a cheerful attitude for our group, which was very uplifting. Our local guides were also very good. The history of the area & so much information about the animals...very interesting.

Just returned from an amazing South African tour with Approach. Unbelievable safaris, top notch accommodation, awesome food. We had the most amazing group and guru. Very busy full days of exciting adventures. Up close to the big 5 plus numerous other animals in their natural environment. Highly recommend this tour.

We returned from our South African tour a few days ago. If you have ever considered this tour, you need to do it! When they say all inclusive, that is exactly what it was from the moment we left. It is so hard to describe all of the incredible adventures we encountered, including land/river safaris, cultural experiences, world renowned landmarks and more. Our guru Annette was so much fun and she went above and beyond. We were so lucky to have her and our local guide Warwick to make this tour so amazing. We will definitely be looking into more tours from Approach in the future!

South Africa was amazing. The food was great selection of local cuisine. We're never left hungry, but you can gain a few pounds.

Approach Tours and our Guru Annette handled all problems be for we were aware.

Our Guru Annette was with us for the whole trip. She's an amazing person who engaged with me everyone on the tour (25).

We booked the African Safari tour May 2023 for Sept 18/24. We expected a 4⭐️trip. Another tour was added to this date and because of them, we often felt like we were getting leftovers.
We had 7 different accommodations that ranged from a 2⭐️to may be a 4⭐️but this room was without AC. We even had one room where one side of the bed was against the wall so one person had to crawl into bed. (Hotel Sky in Cape Town) This place also had a closet for shirts and tops only with 4 hangars. No fridge. The sink had the tap in the corner so nearly impossible to wash your hands. We stayed there 5 nights.
Our coach was older and not that comfortable for the long trips that we went on. The other Approach Tour that travelled the same time had a much better coach.
The food at the hotel restaurants were mainly buffets. No Gluten Free options.
We did have some meals that were better off site but the choices were basically the same every day…chicken, a beef stew, squash and potatoes. The same chocolate cake with custard for dessert many times and of course ice cream.
The itinerary was amazing but it was rush rush rush with little down time.
The safaris were amazing and the guides were so knowledgeable. We did see the Big 5. The early morning safaris were usually a bust until about halfway through the 3 hours. The afternoon safaris were much better for animal seeing.
I would advise to book your own flights. The layover coming back from Johannesburg to Toronto was 7 hours long. We figured our travel time homeward bound was running into double digits. They booked KLM and the food was not that great but complimentary sodas, water, juices, wine, and beer.
There were some neat things included such as a back pack with some travel items. The limousine service to and from the airport was a nice touch.
But I do not recommend Approach Tours. My husband does.

Just got home from the South Africa and Victoria Falls Tour with Approach Tours and what an amazing adventure! Our Trip Guru CD and our comical South Africa Tour Guide Jakes were simply the best, they executed the itinerary flawlessly. From the accommodations to the food to the all inclusive excursions like wine tasting to the 7 safaris...yes I said 7...to the cultural villages this tour does not disappoint! It was incredible seeing the Big Five and many more animals and birds up close during our tour and to learn more about the South African history and culture,
I normally plan my own itinerary/vacations but Approach Tour made it very easy...no planning required on my part.
would recommend using Approach Tours for your next big adventure. You know they're doing things right because of the number or repeat clients that were part of our tour group!

Just completed a 3 week tour of Africa. We are very happy with approach tours. Our Guru Annette was amazing. The agenda was full every day. Accommodations were excellent. We had many great safaris in several countries. Definitely recommend.
