I’ve been a patient here for a few years now. It used to be tough to get ahold of them, but now there is a voicemail system and if it’s something that needs to be addressed they call back within a day or two. If you can’t wait a couple days you should be going to the ER anyways. They also now have walk in appointments available for registered patients, which has been absolutely amazing for minor needs.
I find staff to be caring and friendly, they always remember my and my sons name when I come in.
My only complaint is that I’ve seen patients bring in their dogs. I understand this clinic deals with a lot of at risk individuals who might not have anywhere to leave their pets- but I don’t love waiting for my appointment beside a (well behaved) dog. It’s still a medical clinic.
Overall it’s a great place with caring and knowledgeable staff, and helps fill the massive void in our healthcare system.

Generally, they have really good attentive nurses, and I would recommend them, HOWEVER, for those of us with mental health struggles and other physical health concerns like anemia, etc and any other consistent health ailments we’re trying to work through and heal; They phone system is absolutely ridiculous. The reception staff are absolutely horrible and never answer any calls or call back, they go out of their way to not make appointments for people ! There has not been one single time that I have called at any point in the day even having then on speed dial and repeat calling for an hour at a time one after the other at all of their business hours That I have ever been able to get a hold of a receptionist at the front desk. Also, the other horrible service is that they do not return your message if you leave more than one message that week and if it’s urgent, they insist you go to the emergency, but that is impractical for those of us actually needing bloodwork within the week for example it’s an “emergency” if you have been waiting almost months for hear back from the 306 von clinic but not that kind of emergency that the emergency can put in a request for your blood work. Lastly their message machine continues to cut off your messages. It’s increasingly frustrating and I am now having a full on panic and anger attack because of their terrible human communication services. .

I'm a diabetic and haven't seen them for nearly 3 years. I've had to go to the er to have my blood checked and get my meds refilled. I have children with health issues and cannot have them seen either. They NEVER answer their phone. I've filled out the online email form with my concerns. I've had the ER doctor fax them a letter saying I was suffering with lack of care and still haven't been able to get in. This is seriously disappointing. I'm a mom and my kids rely on me and I can't even take care of myself due to this "clinics" lack of care and responsibility. They are often turning over nurse practioners which is the only time i receive a letter from them.The ongoing doctor issue is so concerning. I do not recommend this clinic.

I still have nightmares about this place. I had a simple infection that when on for about 5 months with no treatment because my "tests were normal". When I finally went to the ER after months of suffering, they asked, "Why hasn't anyone put you on antibiotics?" I suffered for months and after 10 days of antibiotics, I was fine. I suffered needlessly.

Press 0 to leave a voicemail. Then it just plays the recording repeatedly. It’s nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone. I give 3 stars as they did help me to get me referred to a surgeon for a belly button hernia removal surgery. I only need a prescription refill for inhalers for my asthma and I can’t even leave a voicemail.

Apparently the lines are constantly lit up like a Christmas tree because I've NEVER had the phone picked up by a live person when I call ? Current outgoing message states voicemails will be returned in 2 business days... or one week (?!) for non-urgent messages. I'm still waiting going on three weeks later... So much for our "free" Canadian healthcare, I've experienced better care in Central America >:c

There has since been a voicemail added and they have been decent at returning calls.

There has been a lot of turnover and while still the resources seem strained it's getting better.

The poeple that work there remain diligent and caring.

They never answer the phone. There is no voicemail.

This is likely due to short staffing and system that is overwhelmed.

This is a bad time to need medical assistance.
